In cases where the axes must work in \u00abdirty\u00bb environments, it is recommended to equip the SYZAX<\/strong>\u00a0axes with protective bellows<\/strong>. These can be mounted on all versions of the SYZAX<\/strong>\u00a0range.<\/p>

Bellows are guided and so they can be used in any axis orientation. End plates are provided with air inlets to create a positive air flow under the bellows if needed.<\/p>

For dirty environment operation<\/strong>, it is recommended to blow air through this inlet to create a positive air flow from the carriage.<\/p>

When weight compensation is not required, an internal, air actuated, normally closed brake can be fitted in all axis as an option, to protect sensitive equipment from collisions upon power loss or manual actuation.
